Interior Designer

Laura has always had a love for interior design. As a child, she would often be found accessorizing her mother’s bookcases, looking through design magazines and watching her favorite television show, Designing Women. On family vacations, Laura’s favorite part was visiting beautiful, historic homes including Tryon Palace, Biltmore, and Versailles.

Laura attended East Carolina University where she studied Interior Design and Psychology. She has been a part of the Design Works Studio team since 2016. Laura has a passion for furniture selection, color scheme development and finding the perfect fabrics to complete a project. Creating spaces that are tailored to each client’s personalized taste is at the heart of what she does, and she combines her eye for color and love for people to make the design process go smoothly.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family who live close by. Most weekends you can find her outdoors hiking, listening to live music and being active in her church.
