Donna Davis

Owner

Donna is the founder and owner of Design Works Studio. Her background includes a BFA degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University, post graduate courses in architecture and construction at NC State University School of Design, and work experiences in interior design, furniture retail, graphic design and illustration, and architectural and construction design consulting. In 1984 she launched Design Works Studio, when she began working with builders, developers, architects, realtors, and custom home clients in the Triangle area. Due to many years of Donna’s work and vision, the business today is comprised of an excellent design and administrative staff in a wonderful design facility.

Donna Davis has always had a passion for design. Her talent, knowledge and extensive experience in the construction and design field, vast network of resources, keen color sense, attention to detail, and commitment to the highest quality of work have all contributed to her success. As a result, she has grown the business to be one of the most comprehensive and respected Interior Design firms in the area.

Donna’s client relationships are long standing, and repeat business with clients is the norm for this designer. Her work ethic, genuine personality, and ability to really listen and communicate with her clients have remained consistent throughout her 30+ years in the industry. These qualities have helped her time and time again through the years to zero in on the functional needs and style preferences of clients, and produce for them beautiful environments for their home and work.

Donna and her husband Ron enjoy spending time with their combined family of five children and seven grandchildren. Donna & Ron also share a love of music and creating custom metal artwork together. In any free time, they enjoy boating, traveling and activities with friends.
