Carrie Twellman

Interior Designer

Carrie graduated from Meredith College in 2004, with a degree in Interior Design. After College she worked with a local Architecture firm. This gave Carrie experience in plan design, which is so important at the front end of the design process. After this Carrie worked with a local builder and his homeowners, helping them with all of the selections for construction of their custom homes.

The combination of experience on plan design and construction led Carrie to her role at Design Works Studio, where since 2011 she has worked with custom home builders and their clients on projects of all sizes. Her main focus at Design Works Studio is custom construction and remodeling, but she also works with homeowners on custom furnishings.

Carrie has great personal style, and masterfully uses her design skills to guide clients through the design process to create a professionally designed home that still reflects the client’s personal taste and functional needs.

Carrie and her husband live in Apex and have 2 beautiful children and a dog. She loves to travel, go out to eat, read and run around with her kids.
