Cameron Flythe
Interior Designer
A native North Carolinian, Cameron Flythe has always had a passion for interior design. She knew that she wanted to work in the interior design industry even as little girl...her Barbie dream house was the best on the block! After high school, Cameron enrolled at East Carolina University, and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Merchandising with a concentration in Interior Design. Her first job after graduation was at Karen Saks showroom in Raleigh, where she gained a wealth of knowledge about many interior design products -- fabric, trims, wallcoverings, floor coverings, hardware, and furniture. She also developed an excellent rapport with many local designers, including everyone at Design Works Studio.
In 2011, Cameron decided she wanted to be involved in more aspects of the design process, and joined the Design Works Studio team. After spending her first few years helping outside designers as our Designer Resource Consultant, Cameron moved into a full time Interior Designer role in 2020. Cameron works directly with builders and homeowners, helping with construction & furnishing selections. She is also an active member of the Triangle’s Alliance of Interior Designers, having served on several committees.
Cameron is a perfect fit for her role at Design Works Studio because of her great sense of style, as well as her drive to succeed, willingness to help out whenever she can, and delightful personality. Outside of work, Cameron keeps a busy schedule spending time with her husband, Sutton, chasing around her daughter, Wyatt, and son, Banks, and keeping up with her college aged stepson, Simon.
