Alex Iordanou

Interior Designer

Growing up in New York, Alex was always inspired by her surroundings and developed a passion for architecture and design at an early age. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2011 with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a minor in Art History. After 10 years as a project manager in the financial services industry, she decided to pursue her passion for design and make a career change. Alex joined Design Works Studio in December of 2020 while pursuing her Interior Design degree at Meredith College.

Utilizing both her analytical skills and creativity has always been a career goal and the Interior Design industry has been a great way to tap into those skill sets. Alex relies on her project management experience to assist the designers with various tasks associated with each unique project. Alex currently lives in Raleigh with her husband, two beautiful children and family dog. Outside of work, Alex loves spending time with her family & friends, taking yoga classes and traveling whenever possible.
